Supporting these questions is key. It helps to develop:

How to support children's curiosity in a playful way
You don't have to be an astronomy expert. It is important to introduce the topic to children in a simple and fun way.
1. Observing the night sky
All you need is a clear night and a look up. Stargazing together is a powerful experience that children will remember. Tip: try to find a constellation, identify a planet or "count the stars".
2. Books and picture encyclopedias
Children's books about space explain complex things simply and visually. It is ideal to choose titles according to age – from picture books to the first encyclopedias.
3. Movies and short videos
Short documentaries or animations can bring the universe closer in a very comprehensible way. Thanks to them, children can better imagine planets, galaxies and space travel.
4. Games and creation
Involve children in simple DIY activities:
- model of the solar system from paper or plasticine,
- drawing own planets,
- making a rocket from cardboard.
5. Learning through experience
The most powerful form of knowledge is experience. Children remember most what they try themselves.

- The sun is so big that more than a million Earths could fit inside it.

- experience the "universe" with your own eyes.
